Secret marriages are not new to the film industry. But Surveen Chawla has taken it to an all-new level. She has not only hidden it from media and fans but also managed to keep it under wraps for good two years. The Hate Story 2 actress had already said “I do” in 2015 to her entrepreneur boyfriend Akshay Thakker. Mesmerised by the charm of a white wedding ceremony, the bold actress exchanged vows in a castle located in Northern Italy. And you thought only Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are awed by the Italian destination wedding!

Anyway! The Kahin Toh Hoga actress forayed into films through some insignificant roles and later, made a big kill with bold films full of skin show and sex scenes. May be in an attempt to establish herself as a sex symbol in a certain genre of movies, she delayed the announcement. But looks like when nothing went as per the plan, amidst shaadi galore in the tinsel town and the extensive coverage the new brides and grooms are enjoying these days, she tried to mint some publicity too and there you go, she revealed about her two-year-old marriage with pictures on social media.

Let’s give in to her publicity stunt this time. After all, news is news is news, no matter what. So the news is Surveen Chawla is married since 2015.

For her big day, she wore a classic white gown. To add sparkle to her bridal look, she adorned herself with an emerald studded diamond jewellery set that comprised of a lavish necklace and a pair of stunning drop earrings. Simply breath-taking! Although the pictures are two years old, they are a treat to eyes.

Punjabi at heart, Surveen fulfilled her dream of having a white wedding ceremony but could not resist the fun and frolic of a big fat Punjabi wedding. After being pronounced man and wife, the duo headed for a Punjabi Bollywood dance night. No matter how much we are fascinated by a foreign culture, when it comes to marriages, we are not done as yet, until we shake a leg to some desi beats.

Surveen was introduced to Akshay in 2013 through a common friend and soon, the duo got romantically involved. Within two years of dating, they realised, they are made for each other and decided to take it to the next level. It's been two years they are married and the duo is going strong milestone after milestone. In to-to, they have been together since four year and until now, Ms Chawla had been lying to her fans about her relationship status. What a love story of this Hate Story 2 girl!
